SOUTHERN ARIZONA PREPPERS WEST SIDE MEETUP BASIC 101'S OF USING A HAND RELOADER

I just recently took a NRA Ammo Reloading Class, and would like share the knowledge I learned.  I will bring two pistol  LEE HAND RELOADERS 9mm and 38 S&W SP, and a 303  British Enfield rifle hand reloader.  We will do all the steps and will simulate the use of power and primers( NO LIVE EXPLOSIVES IN THE LIBRARY) I hope at least two preppers with reloading experience will contact me that they will come to the class and assist me in the class when we divide up into 3 groups giving everyone a hands on experience at one or all 3 tables. A LEE HAND RELOADER kit is only 3" to 4" wide, 5" to 6" long and 1" thick  it and a box of bullets & A bottle of powder & small pack of primers and your ready to reload.

Reloading is a science and art form that I will have to engage on apprentice level before I feel comfortable engaging the craft on my own. I've seen too many experienced re-loaders have devastating consequences. Prefect practice makes perfect. Thank you again Luke for all your time and energy teaching us. It is a great honor!

Agreed Jennifer! My husband & I decided, based on the excellent information Luke so generously shared with us, that we will probably take that NRA class ourselves. We have several different types of ammo we would like to reload. And "we" are both sort of methodical people when it comes to these types of skills. I respect the process enough that we will include the NRA training; just as we did when we received our CCW's/ L-Bay

Yes K-bay, methodical is a key word with reloading!!! Let me know when you will be doing the NRA class. I might join you.

Luke, don't beat yourself up, you did fine. But this is an example of how much people underestimate teachers - they think we just show up and teach, when actually it takes a lot of planning and preparation. This is even more so for kids, where there are discipline problems, and many of whom don't even want to be there. Let's hear it for teachers!

A great class for people that have no reloading experience. As always Luke was very well informed and put out info in ways that people could understand. I'm sorry I had to leave early. Maybe Luke, you could put on a part 2 of reloading? Great class, would recommend all preppers learn this.

Just as a supplement to Luke's class I would recommend all of the reloading videos of Hickok45 on youtube, I would recommend all his videos in fact.

Great class! Luke is a good instructor with plenty of humor. I learned enough from Luke to decide that reloading, unfortunately, is not for me. But that's cool. At least I learned enough about the topic from Luke to be able to make that decision. I try to learn something new everyday and do at least one thing everyday that enriches someone else's life.
