I've been prepping for a couple years now. I am an Iraq war veteran who sees how things can go south very soon. I wish to expand my skillsets and develop solid plans for SHTF. I'm glad to know that I am not alone in Tucson.
Awesome! Everyone that I have met has been incredibly courteous and approachable. Like me, everyone is "come as you are". I have tried networking locally with other preppers over the last few years and, unfortunately, there was nothing but snobbery and judging and secrecy. It's like you had to pass some kind of secret test in order to join their little club, and even at that there was nothing but weirdos and wannabes who thought they were the best preppers on the planet and they all thought that they were tougher than everyone else. Gossip and shit. It is refreshing to meet other like- minded individuals in Southern Arizona Preppers who are a well- rounded scope of people from all walks of life. And it's all local, which is convenient. I also belong to the Oathkeepers, and that is a superb organization, but rarely is there anything that they do in Tucson. Bottom line: SAP is cool by me and I will definitely refer others.
