For something a little different.......Belladonna is a very cute Gift Shop and Tea Room in Lancaster. This is my favorite tea house so far. I love the decorations and cute gift shop. The food is excellent - they make scones to order in the flavor you chose. You get to select your own tea which is the leaf tea. The sandwiches and the dessert are both excellent! This is one of the few tea houses where "everything" is top notch. It is a bit of a drive but well worth it. The owner and her family run this tea house and they are all so nice you feel part of the family as it is like walking into her home.

Price Includes:

Pot of Tea for Each Person

Assorted Tea Sandwiches (they decide)

Assorted Desserts

**Vegetarian Option Available**

There are 2 seatings on Saturday. We will be at the 11AM seating as this was the only time available.

**After this tea for those that are interested the EFBC's Feline Conservation Center which is about 15 minutes away. Check out It is only open until 4PM so we would go from about 2-4PM which should be enough time to visit.*** It is about $5 to get in. Good for those "cat lovers" in our group!

The menu is unlike other tea houses. I appreciated the variety of savories. The pumpkin and bacon soup was very good. The tea shop is charming. Too bad it's so far away, but if anyone is heading out that way, it's certainly worth a visit.

Great time! The food was very good and lots of it. The drive wasn't too bad. I'll be waiting for the owner's book to come out next month. Thanks Maryanne and everybody for a nice afternoon.

They were already booked up for the 2PM tea so we had to take the 11AM. It is about an hour drive from the San Fernando Valley. Since it is a remote area there is not too much traffic. The cathouse is a wild cat zoo that is about 15 minutes away which a few of us will go to afterwards.
