Self-Love Display in the Park

Join us around 11AM to spread some love in Monument Square.

We'll set up with a few signs for people to write and draw what they love about themselves.

We'll also have a table set up also with a large jug for people to pull out a self-love affirmation; we'll ask passersby to write one for someone else and put in the jug.

We'll supply some sort of tasty beverage for free.. perhaps apple cidar, perhaps a box of joe from DD.. feel free to bring one if you are able =-D

Super excited to meet some people and remind them of what makes them beautiful and great!

For whoever is down, we can grab some lunch afterwards at a place nearby.

Hope to see you there! <3

The Trail to Ale 10K is that morning starting/leaving from East End park - I'll be running/walking it - but East End could be a good place to set up, as there will be TONS of people, although maybe that would be too much traffic? Not sure I can make it if its anywhere else, as little man will need to nap around noon.

Hey Stephanie, thanks for the info! Sounds like a fun time! I like the idea of setting up in a place with lots of people, I just wonder about parking.. I shall talk with Chrystina and we shall decide together... muahah!

    Hey Chrystina,

I went to City Hall today and found out we do not need a permit, that we can set up in a public place, but have to follow some guidelines re. safety and setting up our table not too close to surroundings businesses, etc.

Monument Square could be a good spot... also Tommy's Park over by Exchange/Middle St. could be a good spot.. do you have a preference or an idea of another high traffic/visible location? =-D

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
