This is your opportunity to steer our clubs direction for the upcoming. All members are invited. Topics:
How to expand membership
How to develop a performance group that can play out at a high level while involving and holding the interest of novice players
How to generate income for:
More consistent donations to the church which generously allows our meeting room twice a month
Meetup web hosting expenses (currently $15/mo)
Promo materials like business card and / or informational handouts
Consider sponsors?  Functions?
How to manage the song lists with handouts and tabs
Should we try to arrange workshops with pro players towards member skill development?
Bi weekly meeting schedule needs more prep and organizing.  Should we have members host a night.

Please come prepared to discuss these and any topics yu want to add.

Ahoy fellow ukesters, I think this is an important meeting about how serious everyone is. Gigs, big or small provide a good deadline for learning tunes and sounding good. The economic mantra of The Leftist Marching Band, of which I am a member, is "money ruins everything." One still has to come up with expenses, but how organized do we want to be? Unfortunately I have a prior commitment Thurs.

OMG I love The Leftist Band! I have considered joining several times. I wish you were coming to our planning meeting. I'll take notes and share with group.

I would be interested in working with a group interested in playing instrumental pieces. It could be when Art gets back. I have several in my repertoire and would like to expand to playing with more parts and players. I don't sing.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
