Great first meeting. We sang songs that we were familiar with. For the most part they were very easy to play.

I had a lot of fun and enjoyed meeting everyone. What could be more fun than a group of ukeleles?? :) Thanks to Dan for organizing this and finding us a regular venue!

This meetup went very well. We have a fun enthusiastic group. Everyone participated and we played a lot of songs. The meeting room at the church is an awesome practice space. We decided to meet monthly as a group and monthly for group lessons or woodsheding. That means there is something happening every other week.

I am so grateful that you are so concerned about me. I'm sure we can make this work. We can talk more at the first meeting. Maybe most meetings can be in Brentwood but we can rotate some to people's houses or other venues. Thanks again for thinking of me. Kiyoshi- I will carry my own ukulele but I am no small package.

Ana, you are so nice. Thank you from rest of the club. Deb, we guy can carry you when you needed but you have to carry your ukulele by yourself.

you could also drive your car right up to my front door and if you have a lift that may work as well. :)

my house isn't super accessible but it's not horribly inaccessible. I have 4 stairs to get into the front door then everything necessary is on the first floor. I have some gates but those can come down. I can always put them back up later. a scooter probably won't work but a wheelchair is likely to work just fine. the area we'd congregate in is the kitchen and livingroom which is right off the front door. the bathroom is narrow but I think possibly work ok. I'll post pics for you to see.

I do have trouble with a lot of houses. I have a 4' ramp that can get me up a couple stairs. With strong people there is a way to get the wheelchair up 3 or 4 stairs. My house in Lee is very accessible. When the weather gets warmer we could have a meeting here for a change of venue. Maybe on a weekend when travel may be easier? Just a thought.

Nice of you to offer, Ana! I'd be willing to drive to Manchester sometimes. Is your house handicap-accessible, so Deb could join us?

I can go either day but if it's friday I may be a bit late as I live in manchester and live approximately 40 minutes away. I'd also be willing to host a meetup at my house in manchester NH. :)
