I believe there was a positive impact on me as a result of Saturday's practice. On Sunday my husband shared his "negative" fearful & angry feelings with me about my current health issue. Instead of giving him empathy, I automatically tried to change his feelings. A short time later I realized what I had done. I apologized to him for invalidating his feelings and trying to change them. I took responsibility for my resistance to my own fearful and angry feelings and projecting them onto him in an effort to feel better "out there."
I feel hopeful about my progress. Thank you!

This session was excellent in giving us practice in giving and receiving empathy as well as in observing and offering coaching. Steffen's coaching in mastering the sitinctions of NVC was/is outstanding

This mornings class was excellent. I liked having a 3 person group to that each person could each share in giving and receiving empathy and coaching the giver. I would like to do more of this hands-on learning rather that just watching from afar. It is also easier to do this in a smaller group than with the bigger group. This was a great learning tool and would love to do it again.
