session one , the street of trade towne. urban 3.5

You wait for the city guard to pass. the clink of their banded mail and weapons fades into the fog.
you whisper the command word and the bracelet melts and reforms into a short sword in your hand.
you reach up and adjust the invisible breastplate.

a disembodied hand emerges from a cloak of invisibility waving a heavy padlock, now open.

you dash across the cobblestones, tossing the thief his fee and continuing on your mission. you turn for a moment to hiss softly at the gnome, he remembers everything he sees, but he does get distracted....
"quickly, to the counting room, we must have those names" you whisper as the gnome scurries by as you hold open the door. the shape of the thief is visable for a moment in the fog before he turns into an alley.

"I must learn to pick my own locks" you say to yourself and click your teeth before following the gnome to the ledgers, full of names worth a kings ransom....

welcome to trade town. weapons , armor and magic are illegal, secrets are valuable, and the guilds control everything. Be the first to draw, first to strike and perhaps you' ll live to make a name for yourself.

this is an urban 3.5 setting for 3 to 5 3rd level characters.
the simple description would be shadowrun with out tech.
have fun making characters to work in a highly restricted environment of the sprawling streets of tradetown.
please let me know with any questions. I will run this every other sat between the keep on borderland game.

This is the spell I was looking for last week to mask magical enchantments. I believe its a 3.0 spell but it still works.

We can use it if you waby, but only on small stuff, five pounds. Need to create a "greater" version.

Blame the out of touch person for some of the lag time. And what is this "confirm a critical"? I rolled a 20, what's to confirm :-)

Lot's of studying for me between now and then. All these rule changes, gads. And I used to think the Palladium system was complex.

What evil lurks under the carpet Shoppe? How can our party prevail versus the foul minions of the frog God? Who are these poor raised palidins kept are trophies? The answers and more questions abound!

It was good when we were playing. The group was fun and we worked well. I would've like to spend less time prepping characters, npc's and stuff and more time in game. I'm feeling awkward when I left. I don't wanna slow down the game by pointing out every rule but I will point them out when they effect my character or another PC. It's that wrong? I'm still looking forward to next game with these characters.

I forgot to mention that weapon speed, weapon reach and hit location and piece by piece armor is used in this game world. so draw that dagger and stick it where the armor aint....

I know nothing of these game mechanics, where can I look them up to make better choices for my character?
