Canadian Rockies "Kickoff"

If you are interested in the hiking adventure of your life and would like to see and experience one of the great mountain ranges in the world, massive glaciers, beautiful glaciated lakes, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, grizzly bears, moose, possibly caribou herds, and marmots the size of our California Black bears than I invite you to join me for this critically important informational meeting to discuss going to the Canadian Rockies July 2014. The purpose of this meeting is to share important information regarding what is needed to do such a trip and answer questions. There will be a limit and waiting list for this trip so attendance is important. I am "very" determined to go to the Canadian Rockies next summer and am hoping that others will join me. I have hiked all the major mountain ranges in the Western U.S. and Canada and consider the Canadian Rockies the most spectacular hiking playground in North America and would love to share the experience with others.

Bill, Not going to make it... Over did it yesterday and I am a little sore today. Don't think the drive would do me any good. Please keep me in the loop as I still want to go.

Bill, I really want to come to the kickoff, but I would have a five hour drive to Mammoth after the meeting, so I'm most likely not going to make it. I know how hard you try to -- and do -- accommodate people's schedule's. If it were a Saturday or even a Friday night, I could reasonably make it, but Sunday afternoons are difficult at this time. BUT I'm all in otherwise.

I would be most curious about the tentative dates decided on, if any. Thanks.

I might have to go to Canada just to see those marmots the size of black bears ;)

Kerry, apparently you haven't heard or seen the Canadian Condors...they are really mosquitoes!

Bill, I've been working on a Snowshoe to Dewey point planned for this weekend for a while now. It's the best weekend when you take into account snow conditions, the length of the day and time in which the moon rises. So...not sure if you want to bump this to another Sunday or keep it as is.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
