Join us for our weekly conditioning hike up and around Hanglider Hill which is across from CALM Zoo on Alfred Harrell Highway. The hike will last around one and a half hours. I consider this hike to be moderate because we do keep a good pace as we move up down some hills, a few which are somewhat steep. The total distance is around five miles. So, if you are looking to keep in shape and something to do join us this Thursday evening...An additional bonus during this time of the year is the Christmas lights which will be on display as we hike up and back down Hanglider Hill. Also, please bring a headlamp since it will be dark outside...Important note: If you do not want to hike in the dark you can meet me at the Sherrif's shooting range near the west entrance at Hart Park at 4:45 for a forty five minute hike before I head over CALM. Also, I would not recommend this hike for anyone who is not in shape. You don't have to be in great hiking shape but you do need to have a recent history of regular cardio exercise.
