It was my pleasure to organize this event! Supporting local businesses and building community are important to me. I have decided to schedule a lunch gathering every last Sunday with the intention of cultivating a growing community of mindful compassionate people in and around Brattleboro.

Hello Marilyn! Do you have any interest in going to the 'Sound Bath' healing that will take place in the Brattleboro Coop Community Room from 10 to 11:30 am before our lunch at Superfresh? I went to the one in Greenfield this weekend -- amazing!!

Here's some info: Sacred Sound Circle with David Kuhn, certified shamanic sound healer, continues on Sunday mornings, the fourth Sunday of each month from 10:00-11:30am. Relax deeply as intentional sounds take you in and out of heighten states of awareness. The sacred space created allows for healing and feeling states of bliss. David plays gongs, tuned quartz crystal singing bowls, drums, bells and sacred voice to work with all the systems of the body supporting our body's own natural ability to heal and release blockages that are created in our culture. Repeats every 4th Sunday morning. Sliding scale $15-$20.

Great idea! Equilibrium used to have weekly sound meditations on Sunday mornings. And I think the guy who did it was named David. And Superfresh! was part of Equilibrium before they closed. How synchronistic!

Hi Marilyn! I wish I could go, but I can't that day! I'm so disappointed! Will hope to make the next one!

Next time. I plan on having a gathering every month at Superfresh! in addition to other activities. Actually someone recently suggested a sauerkraut making party, and I am hoping to do that some time in February.

Looking forward to it. When you say across the bridge from Coop, do you mean the foot bridge or the one crossing the river?

    January 16, 2014

    • Marilyn

It's the one that crosses the river and connects with Main Street. The Cafe is right on the corner and can be seen from the Co-op.

I'm new to meet up... is there a cost to attend per person (since I'm dragging my 11 year old and boyfriend and don't need to) or do we just order off the menu?

    January 16, 2014

    • Marilyn

Hi Lori, There is no additional charge to attend other than the cost of what you order from the menu.

I am so glad you will be attending. It is exciting that Brattleboro will be home to a vegan cafe where several raw food dishes will be on the menu. Looking forward to connecting again!
