i am very relational in learning so these meet-ups are my way of healing. exposure to others living these healthy changes and sharing company so that i may grow and stretch out of familiar routines and into healthier ones more consistently.
green smoothies, warm soups, juicing most mornings. i learned how to use a gondola but haven't yet invested in one. i have an omni blender which serves my purpose.
i am not vegan. i eat eggs and fish, and rarely other lean meats. i prefer agave to honey for it's low glycemic index, but no restrictions are necessary.
i attended the live food meet-up group in the valley and began learning such a variety of delicious ways to prepare raw. i believe it will benefit my healing and preventing a recurrence of illness. still new to it, i use a limited # of recipes.
all seem like a fun group. i would like to meet in a quieter forum where it will be easier to get to know people. also, i really like experiential meetups, making new recipes together, it there is a location that could house us all. it's nice to know there are so many people who are interested and will travel. sunday afternoons are great for me!
