Take a walk in the Robert H. Long Nature Park

This meetup was suggested by one of our newest members Jason. It's located in Commerce Twp, along Grandriver with the entry on 14 Mile Rd. This Nature area is well maintained and is full of exciting birds. Rather then a thousand words, here are a few pictures taken on Sunday June 29.

Jason, what was the brand/model # of the remote trigger you had?

Trigger trap, I bought it online and there is a way to get 20% off but I don't remember how I did it. I paid $27.00

You never know what to expect when looking at nature. What sounds like a jack hammer in the distance, might just be the beating of the wings of a large swan coming your way very fast. Is your camera ready for it? We had a great time and all of us learned more about Birds and telephoto lenses from our new friends John and Richard.

Grand River never crosses 14 Mile & doesn't run thru Commerce. The pictures are beautiful, but how about a late afternoon/evening outing once we find it.

For any meet up that you submitted a RSVP, go to the page of the Meet up. For example you have RSVP's for the two meet ups on June 7. Go to those meet ups and once on the meet up page you should see something just below the title of the Meet up saying Upload. You will see this right next to a stack of pictures.
