(Paid event) Jam Making and Canning Class (Jupiter)

It's time to make jam before Florida strawberry season is over! Melissa will show everyone the basics of jam making, and everyone can take home a small jar of what the group makes.

Wednesday, March 6th at Jupiter Kitchen Works (off of Indiantown). It is from 6:30 - 9:30pm, and the fee is $20. Melissa will be showing everyone the basics of making jam and waterbath canning, by using Florida strawberries to make strawberry jam. Everyone will take home a small jar of jam. Melissa will talk about low-sugar jams, and the use of added pectin. It should be a fun, informative meetup.

    Very awesome! Great group of people, super clean well equipped kitchen, amazing directions from Melissa, delicious refreshments and 2 jams to take home! Perfect. I'd love to see another more advanced class on preserving food.
