The Southington Junior Chamber (aka Southington "So-Town" Jaycees) are the premier leadership development group for those aged 21-40.
Providing leadership training and personal development, the So-Town Jaycees put themselves to work to improve their communities.
The Jaycees are the organization of choice for young people! We are a constructive action organization of men and women, ages 21-40. Members develop personally and professionally as leaders in their communities by investing time and energy in civic affairs.
The Southington Jaycees serve the community in 4 ways:
COMMUNITY AFFAIRS: Activities and projects are created and implemented through our chapter to benefit Southington-based organizations.
INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT: In addition to the volunteer work we do, we are also interested in helping our members build leadership and personal skills.
MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT: Raising funds is one of the most complex areas of our chapter. We have many projects that will touch on the other areas of development, but our focus from these projects is the money that we will raise.
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Recruiting, developing, and encouraging members is a vital role in the Jaycees. The Southington Jaycees has members of diverse backgrounds and careers.
