We are a great group of friendly gamers from in and around the S/C/K/G area. It is not a requirement to be from any of those towns to join us; we have active members from all over the Metroplex.
Since November, 2013, we have met nearly every other Sunday afternoon. To date, we've seen a great set of games hit the tables: Lords of Waterdeep, 7 Wonders, Shadows Over Camelot, Francis Drake, Battlestar Gallatica, Last Night on Earth, Triassic Terror, Nanuk, For Sale, The Resistance, Smash Up, Small World, Escape: The Curse of the Temple, Pandemic, RoboRally, and others.
Most recently, the second floor meeting area of Market Street store in Colleyville is our recurring meeting place. We typically gather around noon, and stay/play through 5 to 6 p.m. or until our energy runs out. There is no need to stay for that full length of time; you are welcome to join us for any portion of our session. Please just mention in your RSVP if you have a smaller window of time available, and remind the group of that upon your arrival.
If you are worried about not knowing the rules of any game, don't be concerned. Part of the fun of this group is that we're all interested in learning new games. And among some of the regulars, we have a collective library of over 500 games to share and explore! So there is almost always a "newbie" (or two or three) at the table for every game. Come learn new games with us!
If you'd like to learn even more about us, in the Discussion section of this site are short session reports from our past meetings. In addition, in the Pages section, a few of us have listed our BoardgameGeek.com username, if you'd like to check out our collections. But, really, the best way to learn more about us is to just come out and play! We look forward to gaming with you.
(* We are very grateful to have had Clockwork Gamers host us in recent months, but we'd be remiss not to mention other great gaming stores in this area. Area 51 in Grapevine, Roll2Play in Coppell, SciFi Factory just west of Keller, to name a few. All of them have websites that list their own calendar of events. Please check them out, and be sure to support your friendly local gaming store (FLGS) wherever and whenever you can!)
