At Southminster we try to model God's gracious inclusiveness as we have encountered it in our lives and we try not to put up barriers to keep people from sharing and participating in our worship.
At all services you will see folks of all ages, backgrounds, and income levels. The person
next to you may be homeless or a government employee, wearing a t-shirt and jeans or a coat and tie. We truly believe that God welcomes all people and thus you are welcome to participate in our worship as fully as you feel comfortable.
Presbyterians, as with our ancestors of faith, believe how and what we pray shapes what we believe and informs how we live our lives in Christ each day in the world. Therefore our forms of worship are informed by our ancient faith and expressed in contemporary terms. Likewise, our music selection is a blend of ancient and contemporary with a bit of soul and jazz added to the mix.
If you have no church or spiritual home to call your own, you are welcome to come and be a part of our worshipping community in Christ Jesus.
