Jeff came through and led a good session! Louis, he organized the songs to be performed in alphabetical order!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with to top that! Fun time and glad we had percussion too!
    See ya'all next time!

Today's Songlist! (will take multiple posts due to length)

I don't have email rights to everyone through this site. So, I am posting it here so you can see what to bring. Some will bring prints - as noted. Otherwise, you should download and bring with you (print out or put on your tablet) those that are on the SW CT site, here:
    http://www.meetup.com/Southwest-Connecticut-Acoustic-Favorites-Meetup/files/

We have a new category, the request - jim Tarbox has requested that Martin (et al) play Dear Prudence and Can't Find My Way Home. This seems worth doing, so let's try it.

    See you at 3PM

Hi, I'm new to this group and to playing publicly. Is there an opportunity at this or other meetups to allow others to hear recordings of my original tunes?

    May 17

    • Jeff

Welcome, Doug! As the name implies, this group is for playing acoustic favorites in a song circle format, live, not recorded - so that all can join in. We'd love to have you come and play material we all know. There are doubtless other meetup groups for songwriters where you could play original compositions. On some Sundays you could probably play original material after we're finished ~5PM, but this Sunday the church has a dinner in the Hall.

    Hi folks!

We will play in "the Servery" - where we played last time. Just park in back as before, and head for Branson Hall - the Servery is adjacent to Branson Hall.

    For the song list:

    1. Figure out what you want to play 2. Upload your .PDF files of songs here:
(using the menu above, click "More" then "Files")

    3. Send me an email with your song titles for Sunday. (just go to my profile here, and use the email function). I don't need copies of the files, just the titles.

    4. I will assemble & post Sunday's song list here on Saturday afternoon / evening (so you can download & print files on Sunday before you come to the meetup):

    5. Download the songs on Sunday's list that you need:
(using the menu above, click "More" then "Files")

    6. Print or load to your pad device

If you miss getting your songs on the list, but have songs to play, print some copies & bring with you to pass around.

    See you all Sunday afternoon!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
