More creative challenges to strengthen our photographic tool kits. Today's meetup will focus on Tools & Technique.  We'll spend a few minutes at the beginning of the meetup talking about a specific photographic tool, plus the technique we'll be focused on with this meetup.

Today's Tool: My Creative Eye

Today's Technique: Repetition, Focus

You have an assignment with this meetup - post 3 images to the photo folder after the meetup.

More detail to follow with specifics.

LOCATION:  Coffee at the Point, 710 E 26th Ave Denver, CO 80205 - meet outside.  Parking available on the street or in a nearby parking garage

What to bring?  Your camera, a couple of favorite lenses, a tripod (if you have one!), a polarizer (if you have one!), and an open mind.

We'll be exploring this part of near-downtown Denver - wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water/snacks to keep yourself hydrated.  I'll have some specific assignments for us as we shoot for the afternoon and early evening.

What not to bring?  A closed mind, your dog, non-photographers

ADMINISTRATIVE NOTE:  If you've been a 'no show' for one of our limited attendance events (such as Tools and Techniques, classroom events, etc), you may be restricted from future limited attendance events.

Five Points is always interesting, always gets me out of my comfort zone in so many ways.

I liked the assignment and the challenge to stretch our eyes, minds and comfort zones. We were all out of our element but got into the shooting and enjoyed the experience. I generally try to slow down and not do speed shooting, but this really focused my attention on getting as much as possible from a single subject.

Really upset that I can't make it. Inner ear infection and screwed up equilibrium would make it a not so fun day!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
