Great to have 3 studio's; 3 different lighting set-ups; 3 different expert views on photographing!

Very fun! I don't think any fashion or portrait photographers have to worry about me entering the business anytime soon….LOL Good times! Special thanks to the models and Bob, Shep, & Charles!

Thank you Susan for bringing Amber and Ellen. Thanks also for adding some culture with belly dancing that many had not seen. Hope everyone had a great time and it was informative.

Outstanding class in-spite of the cold! Great models (thank you Susan, Amber & Ellen). Excellent class, everyone took some great images and hopefully learned alot!

With the expected weather, I am not going to be able to make it. If traffic is bad, I don't have enough time to come get my daughter from school, get her home, and get to the meetup in time. Hopefully, cancelling today will allow someone to take my place, rather than doing so once I see how its going.

Forrest, you are welcome to bring your daughter to the meetup, or come later if you'd like. There is no one on the waitlist. It's your call.

I have a conflict with work and will not be able to make it to the studio in time. Hoping someone on the wait list will be thrilled to take my place.

Should we bring a pocket wizard if we have one?

Never apologize for having a question, at least in this group, if you have it, chances are others have the same question.

Susan, YES, please bring your Pocket Wizard if you have one.

I will cover this again during the Meetup briefing, but I wanted to state UP FRONT that there will be NO PAPARAZZI shooting while the photographer who is "UP" is shooting. It is both horribly RUDE and very distracting. If you'd like to take a NON-flash shot of the lighting setup, that's fine, but NO shooting the models from the side, PERIOD. I just wanted to make this abundantly clear upfront.

Part 2 is just around the corner. Just a few suggestion to the folks attending the 2nd class. Know how to put your camera in M or Manual Mode, Know how to change your ISO and F stops. Also know how to change your shutter speed. We will cover these in class but it's good to look in your booklet before the class. It takes time away from the class if you hand me the camera and I have to figure it out. Have fun.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
