As a photographer, I am often asked for the best locations to photograph. My answer is usually 'your own backyard; photograph the places you know best'.
We live in a magnificent part of the world. We are surrounded by immense natural beauty, we live in a vibrant metropolitan area, and we have terrific weather.
This is a series - attend any or all. You will learn some of my most often photographed locations, you may learn some new places to explore, and most importantly - you will be out and about, camera in hand.
Location and focus have changed - I wasn't pleased with the sunflower possibilities, so we're going in a new direction. We'll be seeking out some lovely front range views, both along the way and once we get to Greenland Ranch Open Space in Douglas County. This is new territory for me - come and explore!
This is a rain or shine event. And I guarantee you there's always a Plan B if we get thwarted by light or weather. We often include food and beverage as a way to retrospect our adventures.
Focus: Views of the Front Range, south of Denver - Greenland Ranch in Douglas County
