Announcing a new Meetup for Space Coast Linux & OSS Meetup!

What: August Linux SIG (BUG club)

When: Thursday, August 26,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Central Baptist Church
2503 Country Club Road
Melbourne, FL 32901

The Space Coast Linux & OSS Meet up will join the B.U.G. club for an August Linux SIG (Special Interest Group). We will discuss methods of remotely accessing (sending and receiving) your files in a mixed environment, Using Ubuntu and windows. Some of the command line utilities will be demonstrated, as well as the Graphical tools on both systems.

Examples of things I plan to discuss.... Samba, SFTP, Nautilus, Pyconnmgr.... Depending on the interest of the group, we may go into further detail on specifics if needed and time permitting.

Remember that we set up an EtherPad account for the Linux SIG, it can be found here. If you need/want access or can't remember your login/password drop me an e-mail and I will check into changing or confirming it for you!

Thanks for your time,

Chris C.
