Enjoy the friendship of those who enjoy the beauty of languages and who are wanting to improve their ability to communicate. We have regularly scheduled weekly meetings on Mondays at 5:30 p.m.

Prior to coming to the meeting please go to the Meetup web site in order to print off the hand outs for this evening's meeting. Just go to the drop down menu and choose "Discussions" and then "Message Board". Here you will find the handouts.

Until Monday! Tom

I am going to do something I have never done before in this area of this Web site. I have said in a comment in this rectangle that it was a waste of time to ask me this question because I have said I will always say from now on at least that the Meetup was the best it could be and it will be a waste of time to ask me this question. So, I will use this area to learn words of Spanish in a weird but productive way. I will time travel into the future in a limited way at this Web site. I will use the time traveling machine I saw in the 1960 film with the title of THE TIME MACHINE. The actor Rod Taylor is the time traveler character who lives in 1899 London, Great Britain. In that film I saw a month, day, and year indicators on the time machine. The words are: timekeeper s. reloj, cron~ometro, 2. cronometrador., maquinaria f. machinery. 2 mechanics. 3. mechanism., maquinista m. -f machinist. 2 mechanic.. 3 engineer; engine driver, maquinar t. to scheme, plot.

The Meetup was the best I could reasonably expect. I could tell what I could " reasonably expect " after I have been to the group since Monday, December 13, 2010, and certain highlights of the Meetup events keep coming back. It is like a de` j`a moment somewhat. The Meetup event reminds of my place in this society. But I still give the Meetup a five star rating. I do not want to be accused of speaking with a forked tongue. I like to receive the "Good to see you " messages, but, I will be entertained by them in a mature way because of the possibility that Tom and Francoise did not send those messages. Chatbots might have sent those messages to me. I will link those messages to the STAR WARS movies I have watched in the English and Spanish languages. The characters in the movies I label as chatbots are the C3PIO and the R2D2 characters at least. However, when I was at the Meetup yesterday, they did not seem to be bothered by my presence.
