We had a lively, Spanish-speaking group yesterday. Our fluent speakers challenged the rest of us to speak more Spanish. Liliana's "Jeopardy in Spanish" game was fun and educational.

I enjoyed greatly my visit except for my unexpected Panera BREAD GIFT CARD problem. My Older Sister Karen Rachel Philo, or Karen Rachel Stueland, gave it to me as a CHRISTMAS gift. I am bothered by the possibility the management of the Panera BREAD Company might label me a counterfeiter. My sister is an employee at the Hearing Speech Deafness Center office in Seattle, WA. I was going to buy a bagel after the PANERA Bread female employee told me the value of the card was totally spent. But, I did not have to after a customer at the place observed my unusual problem somewhat and bought two bread products for me. I have been visiting the place and buying some of the products of the same since Monday, December 13, 2010. The products I buy at the Panera BREAD place make more meaningful the Spanish language lessons I am given in The Kent Spanish-English Language Meetup group I enjoy being a part of. I am happy to get drinks at that place in spill-proof containers I bring.

I am thinking of attending my first meetup, I am wondering how fluent I need to be in order to fit in?

    • Donn K.

You don't need to be fluent
