My mom started teaching me when I was a toddler. Then she sent me to a Spanish immersion elementary school to be taught all the subjects! High school classes were fun, but my real studies started after university - in the real world. Going abroad, making more friends who spoke the language, volunteering, and more! I'll be happy to share more stories when we meet!
Share language and culture with people who enjoy them! I like to help people *speak* the language as part of their weekly or daily lives! Your high school and college Spanish classes may've been a good start, but what fun is a language if we don't **talk to people**???
We have lots of Meetups for you to make new friends who'll help you learn about the world and the Spanish language! Spanish Conversation for Beginners is a fun weekly event for beginner to early intermediate speakers. Our Literature Classes in Spanish involve lots of fun discussion! "Spanish Conversation, Tapas, & Sangría" (aka "The Costa Brava group") is a social event for advanced speakers. See Group Reviews on your left to see how much fun we're having!
I learned Spanish in childhood and now I interpret professionally (Spanish <> English, of course). In our Meetup group, I design fun events and teach Spanish through The Learning Center!
We're off to see Juanes!
