The first Sunday of every month at 10 am we meet at the Tennessee Valley Trailhead in Mill Valley. It’s a 3.4 mile relaxing stroll out to the beach and back. You will be back by noon. Bring a snack or wine to share on the beach, if you like. If the weather is not good I will send a note the day before with the name of a local cafe where we can meet.

All levels welcome. If you are unfamiliar with the trailhead, google directions work well -- but know that you just keep driving and driving and driving and then finally you will find the end of the road and the beginning of the trail. Be sure to go all the way to the end of the road, not stop at the sign that says Tennessee Valley. There will be a handmade cardboard sign on top of the table that says Caminamos y Hablamos en Español.

If you arrive late, you can find us on the beach. The correct trail is the one that is the continuation of the road.

Sorry, but dogs are not allowed.

Is anyone interested in carpoling from the east bay? I don't own a car so I'm looking for a ride. I would help pay for gas. - Nicole

Unfortunately, the park and ride lot (that I mention below) is on the SF bus route, but there's no easy way to get to Marin from the East Bay by public transit. Hopefully someone else will be coming from the East Bay -- usually we have several people from there.

Hello all. I would really like to attend this hike, but I do not own a car. Is someone able to give me a ride? I live in the Mission District in San Francisco, but could meet elsewhere if that's more convenient.

Angela, usually someone responds with a ride. So check back here again soon. Or at least a ride from the bus stop at the Park and Ride stop at the freeway exit.

There is the Park and Ride lot at Tam Junction to which one can take the bus from San Francisco. It's easy for someone to pick you up there. I will actually not be attending this month, as I will be at my son's wedding, so I cannot do it. Anyone else volunteering to pick someone up there?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
