My second language.
Off and on for 20 years I guess, but I'd call myself a lower intermediate speaker.
I'd like to hone my Spanish, and there's no better way to do it than speaking. I have lived abroad in China for the past two years, and speak Mandarin as a third language, so very much understand the need for immersion.
The summer camp I went to for many years growing up was about half Mexican and Spanish kids along with those from the States. I also took a little bit in high school and college, but again, still have a long way to go in terms of mastery.
I'm from Brooklyn, grew up speaking some spanish but have never gotten it to a very high level. It is, however, still pretty natural because I learned it when I was little.
