Spirituality Cafe - Suffering, difficulties and tests

Many believe that suffering is a result of past-life greed, hatred, and spiritual ignorance, which returns as suffering (karma).

Coping with suffering is sometimes viewed as valuable in furthering spiritual growth. Suffering can also be seen as illusory, in that it results from attachment to bodily pleasure and pain, and only the Absolute, or God, truly exists.

Martha, something has come up for me this morning and I won't be able to make it. Ordinarily, I might have been able to hand-off to my wife, but she worked overnight. I'll see you all next time!
