Libertarian Party of Washington State Spokane County Conference (LPWA SpoCon)

The Libertarian Party of Washington (LPWA) Spokane County Conference is being held Saturday, September 14th in the Cascade Room of the Quality Inn Downtown, 104 East 4th Avenue in Spokane.  Hosted by Spokane Area Libertarians @ Meetup.com, we cordially invite fellow libertarians and all those who love their freedom to attend.

We will begin the day with an open meeting of the LPWA State Executive Committee from 9:30am to 11:30am.  This is an excellent opportunity to observe how a political party should conduct itself openly and to learn what the movement in our state is determined to accomplish.

A complementary lunch (sandwich bar, soda, coffee, fruit etc.) will be provided from 11:30am to 12:00pm before beginning an afternoon packed with exciting speakers and presentations including:

Ed Berry, PhD, Physics; AMS Certified Consulting Meteorologist #180 – The Truth About Climate Change
Attorney Tim Baldwin of the Lerner Law Firm - What Can the People Do To Restore Liberty

State Senator Dave Taylor – Agenda 21 And Property Rights

Chris Cargill; EWA Director of the Washington Policy Center – This Year’s Legislation

Mike Chism; Washington state Chapter President - Oath Keepers

Judy Crowder; Political activist, and Dave Morgan; Analyst and consultant in the precious metals industry - Constitutional Sound Money

Space is limited so please RSVP now!

Thanks everyone for coming and sticking it out in that hot room. This was my first rodeo as an event coordinator so I learned a lot about what to do and what not to do; the next one will definitely an improvement. Stay tuned.

I think you're doing a great job - I know that was a lot of work!

Yes, it was long but the speakers were great. If only the hotel's A/C worked better? Thanks to Dave, Rory, and all who put this event together!

After you guys do all your serious business, you might want to adjourn to Riverfront Park for PIG OUT. Some of us are meeting at the clock tower at 2 pm to protest the “War with Syria”

It's very encouraging to get so many requests from folks wanting to present at our event; I hope we starting a libertarian tradition in Spokane! We've decided to make lunch complementary so...you can drop a couple bucks into the state party donation box instead, if you're so inclined.

Please tell your friends, especially those good friends who may still be on the fence politically, and ask them to RSVP and come down on Saturday to meet the LPWA Party leadership and see some great presentations!

Another bit of good news is that we have C. Michael Pickens to be our Master of Ceremonies now; Michael is our charismatic Executive Director of LPWA and a driven libertarian activist; you want to meet him.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
