First, thanks for all those who showed up to sign wave for Governor Johnson this week.  We got some friendly honks, waves, and thumbs up.  I didn't see any negative signs. The problem was most people still don't know who Gary Johnson is.  One inexpensive method is Letters to the Editor.  This is the most read section of the newspaper and it doesn't cost a nickel to write a letter.

Some possible subjects:

The similarities between Big Government Obama and Big Government Romney.
Jim Rogers:
"No. They are both the same, as far as I'm concerned, Mr. Obama and Mr. Romney. One's from Boston and one's from Chicago. They both have the same view of the world and how the world works. These are the guys who got us into this situation. I don't know why the world thinks they can solve our problems. They are both going to make our problems worse."
Another discussion of similarities: http://lewrockwell.com/orig13/sanchez-d1.1.1.html
This one by Judge Napolitano: http://lewrockwell.com/napolitano/napolitano67.1.html

Or a comparison of Gary Johnson's and Romney's records as governor.
Gary Johnson became governor when the state was suffering financially and left office with a billion dollars in the state's treasury.
Romney imposed Romneycare on his state, had the law written so it wouldn't take effect until after he left office, and now Massachusetts is suffering as it tries to pay for Romneycare.
Romney often claims he had to compromise because he was a Republican governor in a Democrat state.  Gary Johnson was a Republican governor in a Democrat state, but he didn't feel the need to compromise his core principles.  He vetoed 750 bills; as many as the other 49 governors combined.  He showed no partisanship and vetoed both Republican and Democrat bill and saved the state billions of dollars.

Or Governor Johnson’s record on civil liberties.  The ACLU gave him the highest rating of all the candidates.  He believes the Bill of Rights (and the rest of the Constitution) means just what it says.  He would let the Patriot Act expire and would not have signed the National Defense Authorization Act.  Obama and Romney both support the Patriot Act, NDAA, and human rights abuses at Guantanamo.

Read any of Gary Johnson’s blogs on his website, http://www.garyjohnson2012.com/chuck-todd-of-msnbc-interview-gov-gary-johnson.  Page fore and aft to see other blog entries.

Any other suggestions?  Anyone willing to commit to write a letter to [address removed] ?
