Single male looking to cycle as cross-train activity.
It's local and near my hometown. If group hangs around long enough [an hour] I could get a 6-mile trail run during this time.
Yes, I know the area. A good place to bike might be form Caribou Coffee to Whiskey Island or Edgewater Park for some food, fun, frolic or even a swim if you care couragious and bold.
Cropicana at Whiskey Island Marina, Diana's Deli, Latitude 41N, Chipoltle in Lakewood or Rocky River or Herb's Tavern has a patio.
very old 18-speed Diamondback that needs to be upgraded but get's me where I'm going.
Thanks Glenn : ) Those without any lights on their bikes appreciated the helmut... for it lit up not only the towpath but also the suroundings
Glenn, I would love to run during the week, but I don't have a headlamp. I usually just do runs on the treadmill b/c of this. Where do you guys normally run during the week?
I appreciate your message. How did your run go today? I am bit hesitant to start a group, because I am at a slow pace right now and don't want to lag behind. where you does your group normally do there runs at? let me know!
Glenn, Sorry I missed the run this weekend. 10 Miles right now is a bit ambitious. 6 is perfect for a trail run. I am building up to a double-digit long run program soon, however.
I have a light, so weeknight evening runs are fine.
Glenn - any runs planned?
Glenn. Welcome. I am in Lakewood. Lemme know if you'd like to hit the trails on the weekends.
Get your friends aboard. Try a Murray ride..
Hi Glenn, To answer your question, I do run at Buckeye Woods. Not to often but it's a great place. One problem with it, is it's pretty much out in the open except for the trails. But the trails are short not long. Although I have gotten a 10 mile run there looping around.
