Receiving Meetup announcements on your phone........This page is editable by group members
I've been asked if it is possible to receive Meetup announcements on a cell phone, and how to do it.
I actually tried to connect email notifications from Meetup to go to my cell-phone... but for whatever reason... it didn't work. Which is sad, cause I missed the movie gig. Guess I'll have to check my emails more often.
I can't remember the name of the person that called me (how'd you get my number anyways? It's ok! Call me anytime you want)... It would be very nice to receive a text message on my phone when a new Meetup is announced, I'll try it again and let you know if I'm successful. For those who have smart-phones (my phone is about as stupid as they come) there is a free Meetup app for the iPhone and iPad.
