To Boston With Love flag sew-in

Please join us for a sew-in to make flags for the To Boston With Love initiative organized by the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild (VMQG).

To Boston with Love is a collaborative effort to create and display flags with messages of peace, hope, and love in the city this Memorial Day.

As support for this initiative has grown, organizers have decided to coordinate this effort with a very special Memorial Day celebration. You can find more details about the exhibition here.

Please note that the due date for flags has changed, and submissions must arrive in Boston by May 21 to be included in the unveiling of this exhibition.

Please come and sew a flag here, or you can make flags ahead of time and bring them with you to contribute. We will provide some fabric to make flags, and any colorful scraps are welcome! There are great links to tutorials and inspiration on the VMQG's blog post here.

We will collect all flags and ship them to Boston by that Friday, May 17.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email! We look forward to supporting this project and sending a message of peace and love to Boston!

Good time, as usual! Great Spoonflower fabrics in a mix and match palette, printed to size for a clip and sew project. Lots of applique and embellishment! Some beautiful wishes to support Boston!

I've looked at the patterns online, but is there a specific pattern for the paper-pieced one? I just want to make sure I've got everything the right size.

Oops, found the patterns. Yay! Now...which one do I start first :-)
