Quilted Mug Rugs

Please join us as quilter extraordinaire (and Spoonflower employee!) Caitlin Topham of Salty Oat teaches the basics of quilting to create a beautiful mug rug! In this three-hour workshop, learn the basics of putting together a quilt from start to finish! A small rectangle of batting will be provided, along with cutting mats, rulers, and rotary cutters. Just bring your fabrics and your sewing machine to create a mini quilt, measuring 6" x 8" and featuring half-square triangles. Sip your drinks in style this summer! Your mug rug will be perfect for a side table, desk or kitchen table! No previous quilting experience is necessary, but a basic familiarity with your sewing machine is required.

Please see the full supply list for this class here.

To better manage attendance to this instructor-led class, there will be a $5 deposit required to RSVP to this class. This deposit will be refunded to all present attendees as a $5 Spoondollar credit to be applied to any Spoonflower purchase of fabric, wallpaper, decals or gift wrap. This refund will appear in Spoonflower accounts on Friday, August 23 for all present attendees. You'll need a Spoonflower account to receive your Spoondollar credit. You can sign up for an account here (it's free!), and be sure to include the email address associated with your Spoonflower account when you RSVP.

If you RSVP yes and cannot make the class, please change your RSVP status to "No" by Monday, August 19 at 6pm for a full refund to your PayPal account. If you do not change your RSVP by this time and do not attend class, your deposit will not be refunded. Any deposits that are not refunded will be put toward future events and workshops in the Greenhouse.

Feel free to email with any questions about this class, and we hope to see you here!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
