Head back to school in style with a handmade zippered pencil case! Join us in the Greenhouse as Spoonflower team member Michelle Swart instructs a cut and sew workshop to feature entries from our Pencil Case Cut & Sew Design Challenge!
We'll be printing our favorite cut and sew pencil case designs from this Design Challenge and providing zippers for everyone to finish their very own pencil case. All materials will be provided, so just be sure to bring your sewing machine and a zipper foot, if you have one! Michelle will be on hand to walk us through each step of whipping up this quick and simple project and inserting a zipper. This is a perfect project for beginners, and sewers of all levels are welcome to attend.
Feel free to email with any questions about this class, and we hope to see you here!
To better manage attendance to this instructor-led class, there will be a $5 deposit required to RSVP to this class. This deposit will be refunded to all present attendees as a $5 Spoondollar credit to be applied to any Spoonflower purchase of fabric, wallpaper, decals or gift wrap. This refund will appear in Spoonflower accounts on Wednesday, August 28 for all present attendees. You'll need a Spoonflower account to receive your Spoondollar credit. You can sign up for an account here (it's free!), and be sure to include the email address associated with your Spoonflower account when you RSVP.
If you RSVP yes and cannot make the class, please change your RSVP status to "No" by Saturday, August 24 at 6pm for a full refund to your PayPal account. If you do not change your RSVP by this time and do not attend class, your deposit will not be refunded. Any deposits that are not refunded will be put toward future events and workshops in the Greenhouse.
