Pricing Your Handmade Creations

Join us in the Greenhouse as instructor and entrepreneur Julie Mullin of Fiberactive Organics provides an overview of pricing your handmade goods. Julie has over 20 years of experience in selling her own fiber products. Whether you're just considering starting a craft business or are in business but wondering why you're not making money, this is the class for you.

The workshop will teach you how to calculate the real and overhead costs of your work. You'll learn about pricing structures for wholesale, drop ship and retail sales. Julie will also cover business advice such as how to determine what the market will bear, and what to expect from different selling venues.

If you're curious about turning your hobby into a paying business, this is the class for you!

No supplies are necessary for this workshop, but a pencil and paper for taking notes will be handy!

I really appreciated Julie's honesty about the reality of having a small business. One of the most useful classes I have attended. Thanks!

Thank you all so much for coming out tonight, and thank you, Julie, for sharing everything you've learned through operating your creative business! The five pages of furiously scribbled notes in my notebook can speak to how much I learned tonight. Please feel free to keep the discussion and tip sharing going on our Meetup forum or on this event page. Thank you, again, for coming out to the Greenhouse tonight!
