In this three-part class, Caitlin Topham (http://saltyoat.blogspot.com/) will walk you through the steps of making a baby quilt, from piecing to basting to quilting to binding. We'll cover the basics of matching seams, creating a quilt sandwich, and quilting straight lines on your sewing machine. Skills learned in the class can easily be translated to larger quilting projects. Students will walk away from the class with a finished quilt, perfect for gifting or keeping.
No quilting experience is necessary, though students should be familiar with how to operate their sewing machine (wind a bobbin, thread the machine, etc.).
This class meets for three consecutive Saturdays in January from 1-4pm. Please note that your RSVP here confirms you for all three parts of this class!
Part 1: Saturday, January 12 from 1-4pm
Part 2: Saturday, January 19, from 1-4pm
Part 3: Saturday, January 26, from 1-4pm
