Will be experimenting with the Phoenixville location for close to BB level of play. This means 3 hits (passing, setting and spikes) and rules enforcement (line fault, lift, hands, etc). We expect you to attempt bump/set/hit each time. Please know and understand the position of setter to prevent collisions between players. If you are recreational player, sign up for Plymouth meeting location.
You come, take ownership and play. We meet/catch up with others during breaks. Event is currently leaderless (unless someone wants to try that role). No complaints except for any suggestions to improve the set up. As adults we expect everyone to step up and resolve issues right on the court.
This event is pick up open gym, not league. You must be open to play with varied skill levels. If you have played before and if you have basic skills, then you'll probably fit in okay with a willingness to advance. We request you to change your RSVP in advance. If you forgot to change your RSVP early, please make all attempt to show up. With one court no your presence really matters.
Directions and Parking information
The center is on Main street between Valley forge Road (23/Nutt Road) and Bridge Street. Center is close to Hall Street/Church Street.
Park at the Bank parking lot across from the civic center. Building has civic center written on it, but it is hard to find. especially in the night. If its your first time, please try to get there early.
Facility charges $5.00 per person.
