Pool party!

Let us chill out by the pool this summer. Party will be from 4pm til 11pm on Thursdays @ Valley Forge Casino, valley Pool. From 5pm-7pm, there will be happy hour drink specials and an outdoor barbecue on site. The night will continue with a variety of contests and prizes, DJ performances, and fun summer giveaways. Pool+Sessions, is a new weekly event at their revamped Valley Pool to enjoy a VIP experience with poolside servers, cabanas and bottle service. Must be 21 years of age or older to enter. No cover. If you need more details & party information you can email [masked].

Meeting Place: They had a back bar that was closest to the parking lot, away from the hotel building, with an area off to the right of it that might be a good place to meet. Last year when we did this, several meetup groups were there and each staked out a location around the pool area.

Joe, Can you please update on what happened? For future events, will you be able to request them to let you know in advance if event gets cancelled for rain or other reasons?

They ended up cancelling at the last minute due to rain. If weather is an issue again, they will give us a heads up and I'll make sure to post that info.

      Thanks Amanda.

  • Tom- take pics, leave f.

likely canceled by facility due to earlier rain (??). We should have some person to call- or they should notify an event host in case of cancellation.

    No one here?

Must have been canceled. There's literally not a single person in the pool area.

This is a great idea. I went once last year and loved it. Only thing is I can't go on the 19th, but I'd love to see this meet-up happen. (Wish I'd known about the 12th!)

The valet is free and they expect a lot of people going to the pool party to park there.

Ok thanks for the info everyone!

I look forward to attending this event another Thursday when it is NOT rainy and dreary. Thanks!

Stupid question but is swimming allowed?

    June 18

    • Rochelle R.

Last year there were a few people in the pool the night I went. You can treat it as a happy hour or a pool party. I could use a dip in the pool myself.

      June 19

    • Joe D.

You can certainly swim if you want to. I'm encouraging people to jump in the pool with some contests like leisure diving.

Joe, can I post this to another group also? The more the merrier!

      Too late I think :(

      June 19

    • Joe D.

Sorry for the late response but this pool party will be every Thursday. The last one is Aug 14th so definitely feel free to post the event in another group.

  • Mike

When are the most people going to be there? That's kind of a wide time range.

    June 18

    • Max

6-6.30 might be ideal. If you are too late, if might get hard to find the group. Group is planning to meet near back bar that is closest to the parking lot, away from the hotel building, with an area off to the right.

If they have it configured the way it was last year, come in the gate to the pool and walk around to the other end of the pool area.

Still Happy hour, joining the party at 6:30P
