I under the impression that I was attending this event with other meetup members. I guess it's written in invisible ink that we're on our own for tonight. ) In the future, I would suggest your making it more clear, esp. if you, the organizer is going on a different night than the event is posted. For me, it was misleading.

Tom, thanks for checking on me (again!). I hope you are doing well. I appreciate that my lack of presence on the trail has been noticed! I had a rough car accident in the Fall that has made it impossible to hike (let alone carry things up stairs). Between healing ribs and focusing on completing my dissertation and internship by June/July, I hope to see you out of the trails in the Summer! I'll make sure to pack the cookies. :-)

Thank you for checking in with me. It has been asphyxiately hectic (lovely image, I know!). I have missed hiking in general, and definitely with the group. I will have to send Jules a big apology before I try to attend another hike!!!
I have started my internship in the Lancaster area and recently moved out to West Chester. When things settle down with unpacking, etc. I'd like to show myself (& my cookies) once again. Will be good to see you and the other friendly faces!
