you always feel welcome
Hi Linda, I defered this evenings hike to next thursday due to the heat.
Sorry, we missed you this time, I have to provide my cell phone next time. Hope all is well.
Darn!!! And you could have gone right into the boat house and dragged my Dagger into the water! Next time! Let me know if you ever want to head down here early and get some paddling in. I will send you a picture of the house from the water, you may recognize it! Hope all is well.
Hey stranger! Did you paddle the Bush River today? If you did, you went right by my house! Give me a call!
Linda, an 8' sit-on-top kayak should be fine for paddling around ROCK HALL. You need to have a PFD (life preserver), it is ILLEGAL to paddle in MD without one. The MEETUP for ROCKHALL can be found under the location link for the event (see ALL the event details there). Hope to see you there.
Hi Linda - Thanks for joining! I hope we all find this group fun. I'd like to schedule our First MeetUp to get together and talk about what we'd like to do and then schedule our first event! What works better for you for a meeting - a weekend afternoon or an evening during the week? Thanks. -Michelle
Linda - are you coming out this saturday or next? Either day is fine! We practice at 6:45 a.m. Bring a bottle of water, dress in quick-dry clothing and bring a PFD if you want one (most peeps don't use them). We go rain or shine, but we will NOT go if it's thunderstorming. Send me your email address and I'll let you know if we cancel. We will hook you up with a paddle and a seat pad. Oh, and BRING YOUR GAME FACE!
So are you a white water kayaker? I do flatwater, when I'm not dragon boating. I found dragon boating through kayaking too. I think you will seriously dig it. I'm the boat Czarina for the Schuylkill Dragons - if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. If I don't know the answer, I'll hook you up with someone who does.
Welcome Linda and cheers for the founding fathers!
