Angelika Film Center
Located in the heart of downtown, the Angelika Film Center & Café is Houston’s most stylish cinema, playing an eclectic mix of art films and commercial movies from the major studios. The foyer has a grand high ceiling that is complemented by an elaborate crystal chandelier wrapped in blue neon. Each of the Angelika’s eight auditoriums offer stadium designed seating, wall to wall screens and digital sound.

Just brings to my mind more the importance of just starting with a simple backyard garden. Small. Then can increase when I get comfortable with tending to what I have. The movie didn't suggest that. That's what I came away with. Marie
    •  "Food, Inc." opened my eyes to the concentration of power of the food industry and their control over regulatory agencies that are supposed to be protecting us. Even more revealing is the recent acquisition of "organic" brands by the same international food corporations. Clearly the only fool-proof way for nutrition-conscious consumers to obtain highest quality food is to grow their own. The local/organic growers, encouraged by the "sustainability" movement, are likely to become incapable of supplying the growing demand of consumers like me who are fed up with Food, Inc.
    •  Informative, Scary, Sad, Ghastly. I knew some of this from other sources but had no idea just the scope of what is being done behind our backs. I "thought" the USDA was at fault, but now realize their hands have been all but tied. I am very surprised that this movie has been made & it being shown at all. The POWER & MONEY behind what is happening in the USA's food sources is very good at covering up their EVIL. I know that is a strong statement, but when a person(s) deliberately put the health millions at risk for money there is no other term to use. That does not even include the animal abuse as a direct product of these business practices.
