    November 19 - Houston Animal Rights Team (HART) will have an open meeting Thursday, November 19 at 7 PM at The CANVAS, 708 Telephone Road / 77023. Newcomers are very welcome! The Houston Animal Rights Team is an all volunteer, grass-roots organization working to raise awareness to end cruelty to animals since 1983. Please come out to plan leafleting and compassionate outreach events for the annual Fur-Free Friday demonstration and vegan outreach distribution during the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

    There will be a free screening of the short 10 minute movie, "A Life Connected" which talks about all of the good reasons to choose vegetarian.

    Radical Eats will be providing vegan snacks!
