I THINK I will be able to attend this trip (but I don't want to RSVP a yes yet till I know for sure) but if so I will probably drive versus the amtrak. I will also stay at the Casino Queen. I can get rooms there for 60 a night so if anyone else still needs a room by the time I know for sure I can book it for you if you want to stay there. There is a metro link station on the casino parking lot that we can take to the game if that is how ppl are getting there so we don't have to pay for parking at the game. The casino lot has 24/7 security to watch the cars as well. As far as tic prices for the game I prefer to keep them low since I don't even like baseball and due to that fact I also don't care where we sit. I hope to know by this weekend if I can attend!

Btw, I'm guessing the bleacher seats are the $20.80 ones. Hmmm, I'm no mathmetician, but that's $10 cheaper than the Pavilion seats.

    April 20, 2013

  • Jeremy

Alice, please RSVP no for this event.

    April 20, 2013

  • Jeremy

Kevin, my vote is definitley for the bleachers!! There's more room & it's more fun too!

I like the seats that are in sections[masked] or[masked] or left/right field bleachers

    April 20, 2013

  • Kevin W.

I have posted below the web site page that shows ticket prices and seating. So let's take a vote on where we want to sit. I will start the voting with sitting in the right or left field Paviliion. That ticket cost is $30.80. What does everyone think? As for hotels Ebone where did you make your reservations at? This way we can all be together. I would like to coleect everyones money by May 1st so I can order them. When I collect all the money I will order them using my debit card.

    April 20, 2013

  • Victoria

Kevin, what's up with the tickets and hotel?

    April 18, 2013

  • Kevin W.

So what price range does everyone want for the game tickets ? Ticket prices start at $20.80. May 1 I will purchase tickets when I collect all the money . So we need to decide on where we want sit and pay. Its a few weeks from May 1. Also are there any suggestions on hotels downtown to stay at so we can all get in our reservation?

    April 11, 2013

    • Victoria

      Kevin,
Keep my ticket cost under $40 and my hotel under $60...I don't care where we sit or stay!

I'm changing to no for the time being. If Closer to May 1 I know for sure I can go, I'll change it back to Yes. Just not sure at this time if I can.

    April 8, 2013

  • Victoria

Kevin...have you checked out the costs for hotels?

    April 3, 2013

    • Kevin W.

I'm going to do that this weekend. Got a particular place you like downtown?

      April 4, 2013

  • Jeremy

Hey everyone, getting hotel rooms is really the priority right now! There's no sense in planning everything else, if we don't have a place to sleep!

    April 2, 2013

If driving becomes the vote of choice, it's imperative that we all rendezvous somewhere. Walmart doesn't care if people leave their cars for a night or 2 in their lots & they're conventienly located next to the I-55 south-S. Sixth Street interchange. As a matter of fact, they have an official open door policy towards RV'ers. They encourage people traveling across country via RV's to stay in their lots for free overnight.

Ok everyone. We need to decide on travel. Jeremy voted for Amtrak. What do others want to do?

I enjoy flexibility with mobility, I'm driving.

      March 29, 2013

If the hotel and game are both close to Amtrak I will do that...if not I prefer to drive.

      March 29, 2013

  • Jeremy

Kev, I like the Amtrak idea for several reasons; it's cheap, it's fun, & no one has to leave their car in St. Louis anywhere overnight. This would also make it easier for all of us to rendezvous that morning at a certain place & time. How much time have we all wasted waiting for people when trying to leave to go somewhere??

    March 26, 2013

  • Kevin W.

Everyone Jermey mentioned about taking Amtrack down there. Or we could drive up as well. Amy and I have volunterred to drive. What does everybody want to do? I'm up for either one

    March 25, 2013

  • Jeremy

Hey Kev, as far as transportation to St. Louis goes, have you thought about taking Amtrak? There's about 5 or 6 daily departures from Springfield in either direction & the new train station down there is really nice & centrally located right downtown. The train is also incredibly cheap!! The station in St. Louis is also right next to a Metrolink stop, which is convenient in case we need to take that to get to a hotel.

    March 16, 2013

    • Amy

I'm willing to drive people that stay at whatever hotel I stay at. I don't want to end up being driver the whole weekend, just to and from St. Louis. ;)

      1 · March 17, 2013

    • Kevin W.

I will also volunteer to drive. Jeremy what do want to do Amtrack or we drive up like last time? So far Amy and I have volunteered to drive.

Hey kids, 1 of my co-workers just got an awesome rate via Priceline @ the Hyatt in downtown St. Louis earlier this week. $50 a night to be exact!!

    March 22, 2013

    • Victoria

That'a great price...even better if we double up in the rooms!

      March 22, 2013

  • Jeremy

    I love St. Louis!!

    March 22, 2013

  • Kevin W.

Ticket prices range from $25.80 to $150. What price range does everyone want to go with?

    March 17, 2013

    • Kevin W.

Yeah Carla I was thinking the same

      March 17, 2013

    • Victoria

      I'm with Carla...keep em low

      March 17, 2013

  • Jeremy

Also, Erica is inquiring about hotels; might I suggest everyone start looking at hotels.com? My brother & I got a phenomenal rate through them a couple of years ago in Chicago @ the Palmer House, which is 1 of the nicest hotels in the whole city! It's a weekend, so it won't be too cheap anywhere! But, research is key. Ideally, it'd be cool if we all stayed in the same place. But, overnight accomodations are all everyone's own responsibility.

    March 16, 2013

  • Kevin W.

Ok everyone . We need to decide where we want to stay I was thinking close to downtown . Also I want to collect everybodys money for the tickets by May 1. Then I will order them.
