Introduction

By temperament, I am a "Rational." I have had to live by my wily "Artisan" side in the workforce, but now I may allow Reason and Logic to prevail.

How did you become a skeptic?

Issues of The Skeptical Inquirer could be found around my childhood home, but mysticism abounded too. I learned the difference between them at an early age. As the first in the house to finish college, I cast my lot with intellect and science.

Did you formerly believe some paranormal or pseudoscience claims?

Because I am an older woman who lives alone and drinks alcohol, I remain afraid of Spontaneous Human Combustion.

Do you read Skeptical Inquirer, Skeptic, or a similar magazine?

No, but I read science literature, and leading atheists.
