How did you become a skeptic?
One day my older sister told me there was no Santa or Easter Bunny. I later became an amateur magician, and the literature surrounding P.T. Barnum and Aleister Crowley convinced me that everyone, including myself were gullible fools.
Did you formerly believe some paranormal or pseudoscience claims?
While a member of the Innocence Project, the level of pseudoscience we dealt with determined the fate of many people who were wrongly convicted. Junk science is used in court to convict people still.
Do you read Skeptical Inquirer, Skeptic, or a similar magazine?
No, I currently have no subscriptions, but I'm kept up-to-date my many friends I have on MySpace and elsewhere.
