Wired Wednesday April Meetup

Wired Wednesday is a free monthly event for forward-thinking Toronto area entrepreneurs to gather and mind-meld. A great chance for startups around the city to get friendly, discuss current trends, and network in a casual, open, and focused setting. Attendees will walk away with new insights, new friends and actionable ideas for their businesses.

Saul Colt bio - Saul Colt is the Head of Magic of FreshBooks - the online invoicing, time tracking, and expense tracking service for freelancers and service-based professionals. Saul heads up the non-traditional marketing department at FreshBooks and before joining them, Saul was the first international employee to be hired by Zipcar Inc, now the world’s largest car sharing company, to launch the company’s first foray into the Canadian market. Saul is an accomplished marketer and speaker and has lead discussions on a wide range of topics from Customer Service, Experiential Marketing, Social Media and Bad Television. When Saul is not working he can often be found wearing western shirts and listening to 80’s and 90’s hip hop.

David Crow - David Crow is an emerging technology and start-up advocate. At Microsoft Canada, he is responsible for helping Canadian start-ups through programs like BizSpark (details at microsoft.com/bizspark). David helps companies understand emerging technology and design practices for creating compelling digital experiences. David focuses on helping companies to extend their customers' reach with next generation technology for the desktop, digital devices, standards based applications for the Web, and rich media applications.
