He recently served as Managing Director of the League of Young Voters, a national youth political empowerment organization, before which he was the organization's first Director of Technology and Internet Programs, and he worked at MoveOn during the 2004 election.

The first speaker was by far the best. That said the others had gems to share as well. There also seemed to be a wide variety of people there to meet.

The event was well-organized and presenters shared interesting case studies.
  • Rob Anthony
First time going, and figured it would be about entrepreneurship, instead I had to hear case studies about different marketing plans which really was not relevant to the wired wednesday theme. Not sure if i would attend again. Really didn't leave with any brilliant take-aways.

It was enjoyable. I liked having the opportunity to discuss some of these ideas and concepts with less 'tech-inclined' people, as tends to be the pattern with many of these types of discussion. I'll do my best to make it to the next one.

    amazing presenters!
  • Khadija
The networking session was very interesting. I did not know anyone there being the first Wired Wed, but there were many lost newcomers who wished to network and talk about their needs. Made some good contacts. I also liked the suggested names to meet on the name tag. By coincidence I bumped into one of them and it was a good contact. Thanks.
