Guitar, on and off for 15 years but never consistently enough to get good. I have always just played along to records and still consider myself an advanced beginner. Believe me, you don't want to hear me sing.
I expect to be the student and benefit greatly from playing with other blues lovers.
Make new friends and maybe work out my musical dreams. Progress as a musician by playing with others for the first time. I hope everybody is tolerant of my inexperience.
I grew up listening to the Stones, Cream, Hendrix and Led Zeppelin when it was all new music, so 45 years or so. I went to high school with George Thorogood who led me to John Lee Hooker and Elmore James. Later on I went back to the roots and discovered the Fathers; Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson, Howlin Wolf, BB and Albert King. I will enjoy playing most anything based on the blues.
I am a child of the 60's and wish peace and love for everybody. Apologies for the photo, been watching too many Joe Bonamassa DVD's lately.
Playing with a band will fullfill a goal I've had for a long time.
