Let me start out by saying that this Meetup is a labor of love and I am so proud of what we have accomplished as a team, as a group and as friends. I remain committed to making this a great experience for our members where we can all grow friendships, get better musically, and perform shows for civic events and charities.
I am going to be cutting back on my attendance to Meetups to keep a better balance in my own personal life and to make this meetup sustainable for many many more years God willing. I do not want my decision to be misinterpreted as anything more than what it is. I am also asking Kirk to step up as an Assistant Organizer in our Meetup. Kirk has from day one exhibited great zeal and devotion to our Meetup. Please congratulate Kirk.
Some Meetups may not have me or any organizer present in attendance. This presents no concerns to me because of the high caliber of people in our membership. Meetups when I am not present are opportunities for free jams in a Squier free environment LOL! Again thanks for all your hard work dedication and dues which make all this possible and again I remain committed to this great Blues Meetup we have!

Thank you so much for your interest! This meetup is open to members only but we are accepting new members. We meet at a Rehearsal Studio weekly, there is a waiting list for certain instruments but please apply! Space and band structure does limit membership, I apologize in advance. Without question this is one happening Blues Meetup with our alumni branching out in their own bands, Meetups, open mics and great personal musical endeavors. We celebrate the Blues and the impact that it has had on American music every Thursday! For aspiring blues singers and musicians in the Raleigh Durham area who want to share, mentor, teach and participate in blues jam sessions. This also includes blues musicians and singers who would enjoy going to occasional blues shows, coffee shops and events as a group. Although we perform some Blues cover songs, many of our Blues songs are originals written by Squier Red. Singers and musicians at intermediate levels or better and who are over 18 years of age are welcome to join. The primary focus of this group will actually be singing and playing blues music at group jam sessions. We will also enjoy meetups at coffee shops and group concerts with other blues lovers!!!! To join Squier Red's Meetup group just request membership. With membership is the opportunity to participate in scheduled meetup jam sessions for monthly dues of $35. Meetups are held weekly on Thursdays, each session lasting two to three hours on varied days. Also you will be able to participate in many other organized events. Other perks will be included. \*\*Membership numbers will be limited to ensure that not too many instruments of one type are present.\*\* Thanks for your interest and I hope you request membership!
